Your goal, new year resolution or intention needs to be so compelling, juicy, and irresistible, that nothing can stop you from getting it – not even your inner saboteur. 🦋

How might your life be different if you decided to stop tolerating or suffering your own thoughts, void of clarity, confidence and courage.
How would your life be different if you dared yourself to move out of your comfort zone, tackled your fears and gave your self permission to live a more authentic version of whom you are?
Mmmm, imagine the joy, freedom, expansiveness, passion, aliveness, you would feel if you dared yourself to experience the life which is in your heart.
What are three things you can do today to start moving in the direction of your dreams? 🦋
Start with fear clamouring in your heart.
Start with your suppressive self-doubt.
Start with your aching unhappiness.
Start with your tattered self-worth.
Start with your despairing loneliness.
Start with your not ready, unpreparedness.
Start with all that you have and have not.
Start with what you know and what you don’t know.
Start where you are, as you are.
Start today with one simple, safe, easy step.
Name it! Own it! Now Do It! Today! 🦋
If you can dream it you can do it but first you must believe in yourself. 🦋
I was so overwhelmed and tired that I decided to throw in the towel. My inner Warrior threw it back at me and said ‘Wipe your tears girl, we’re almost there. We can do this!’ And so we did. 🦋
What is the one thing you could do today, that you have never done before, that would exponentially increase your capacity to manifest your most coveted goal for 2019? Do that today! 🦋
There will be days when you will doubt yourself. You will doubt your vision, abilities or resources to achieve your goals.
Your goals don’t care about how you feel or that they will be fulfilled or abandoned.
However, if you care about your personal fulfillment and you want to move forward, then push through your uncertainty by doing what needs to be done and you will feel your confidence rise up to slay your inner demons. 🦋
Throughout the past few millenniums, tomes have been written, talks have been scripted, motivational speakers have enlightened, coaches and consultants have been hired on a subject matter that only requires a two worded mantra, ‘Do It’, followed up by a whole lot of more ‘Do Its’ and of course heaps of befitting action.
Success, is defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Nike got it right in 1988 with their timeless inspirational tag line, ‘Just do it’.
The magic bullet for success? Simply, recognize that success is not a noun but verb, a lot of verbs strung together to the very end.
‘Do It’ till it’s done. 🦋
Because courage is a part of our DNA, fear is not a reason to not do something, it’s an excuse. Courage is ‘doing it’ scared!
‘Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda’ … three of the saddest words uttered throughout the ages … 3 words that cause our greatest grief and anxiety … they are the socially unacceptable words of regret … the misgivings we have shoved down … the remorse we pretend doesn’t exist … we all have them … moments when we cautiously withdrew from someone or something because we were afraid of being rejected, of failing, looking foolish … they are the life defining moments we defensively, justifiably, self-righteously took a detour from and headed into a new direction … believing we are ‘now’ safe … yet as we journey on our new path we quietly carry our invisible baggage of shame, guilt and self-loathing, mumbling I ‘Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda’…
A recent survey by Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America found that roughly one-third (32%) of Americans regret major choices in their lives.
Happy Newsflash … it’s never late to dump our baggage … to embrace our innocence … our vulnerabilities … to acknowledge that we did our best with what we knew at the time … to exercise our courage …. to step up and smash our ‘Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda’… to either do the ‘ it’ … or … to forgive ourselves … for our past misguided decisions … at this juncture we can’t fool ourselves … we know what to do for ‘done’ to pop.

For me the true measure of success is personal happiness, optimism, gratitude and a deep sense of satisfaction.

An Experiment: Set Your Own Measure…
Take a look at every aspect of your life and ask yourself…
“Am I happy with this part (relationships, work, finances, home, health…) of my life.”
If you answer ‘yes’ then you are experiencing success in that aspect of your life however, if you answer ‘no’ or ‘somewhat’ then it is time for you to tap into your authentic self, design a doable plan and then do ‘it’ with all of your heart, soul, gray matter and physical energy.
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are.
I don’t believe in circumstances.
The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.
~ George Bernard Shaw
